Turkey’s first airport loyalty app launched

Users can earn points at every purchase at the airport

Sabiha Gokcen International Airport launched ISG PORTPAL, a rewards program for frequent travellers to maximise their benefits at the airport. With ISG PORTPAL, Sabiha Gokcen passengers can get personalised offers at the airport as well as worldwide through its easy-to-use app.

Partnering with Arrture, the global airport loyalty program solution provider that developed and manages the technological infrastructure of ISG PORTPAL, Sabiha Gokcen aims to reward the passengers at every travel touchpoint through program partners and stakeholders at the airport.

Benefits at the airport

Arrture is the ISG PORTPAL’s infrastructure provider and the company is owned by Plaza Premium Group, a Hong Kong based company. With an office in Malaysia, The Group comprises four airport services, including Airport Lounge, Airport Transit Hotel, Airport Meet & Greet and Airport Dining.

Users can download the app from Google Play or App Store and start earning points at every purchase from the marketplace within the airport. With ISG PORTPAL, passengers can get offers and benefits at food and beverage outlets, duty-free shops, lounges, fast-track points, airport hotel and airport parking lot. The upcoming phase of the loyalty program will go beyond Sabiha Gokcen Airport and expand to a wide range of merchandise and services worldwide.

Berk Albayrak, CEO of Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, said the new app aims to make the airport experience more comfortable. “Our loyalty program will strengthen our relations with our business partners at the airport and offer our passengers a unique and excellent experience,” added Albayrak.

Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport is Turkey’s second largest airport, serving to total 19.7 million passengers by the end of Aug. 2022, according to General Directorate of State Airports Auhority (DHMİ). 10.03 million of those passengers had domestic flights and 9.67 million of them flew internationally.
