Turkish startup involved in Saudi Arabia’s futuristic project, Neom

Evreka, a Turkish sustainability startup specializing in waste and material management technology, expands its presence in the Gulf countries by participating in significant projects in Saudi Arabia. Continuing its efforts to establish the smart waste management infrastructure for the visionary city of Neom, shaped by Saudi Arabia’s futuristic vision of a ‘new future,’ Evreka is contributing to the Kingdom’s environmental sustainability goals and forward-looking vision. As a side note, Evreka is a part of Garanti BBVA Partners Tech startup accelerator program. (I have a story here about Evreka)

Supporting Saudi Arabia’s 2030 sustainability goals

Reflecting on their projects in Saudi Arabia, Evreka’s Co-Founder and CEO Umutcan Duman said: “As Evreka, we provide sustainable solutions in over 20 countries around the world, from the United States to Singapore. At a time when we are witnessing the rise of the world’s largest infrastructure projects on the global stage, we are thrilled to be a Turkish company providing technology for Neom, one of the most ambitious and futuristic urban developments globally. We are honored to be involved in developing the waste and material management infrastructure for groundbreaking projects that are shaping the future in the region. Through our work in Neom, we are not only supporting Saudi Arabia’s 2030 sustainability goals but also aiming to lead larger-scale projects in other Gulf countries with our end-to-end sustainable solutions.”

End-to-end waste and material management solutions

Having founded in 2015, Evreka provides digitized and end-to-end waste and material management solutions in waste management and other industries that need to adapt to circular business models. Evreka enables organizations to trace the waste and resource from secondary raw material supplier to consumer so that they can close the loop through reusing, recycling and repurposing.
