Turkish refurbished electronics platform EasyCep has raised $45 million in a new investment round with participation from Oleka Capital, RePie Portföy and Ziraat Portföy, the company said. The startup, which has grown fifteenfold over the past three years, plans to accelerate its expansion in Turkey’s secondhand smartphone market and broaden its refurbishment operations to include tablets, computers, smart home devices and gaming consoles. EasyCep Co-Founder and CEO Mehmet Akif Özdemir said the funding will help the company deepen the transformation it has initiated in the used smartphone sector. “With our EasyCep Express dealer network, we will take the transformation we started in the secondhand phone market even further,” Özdemir said. “We are now focusing not only on smartphones but on a wide range of electronics — from computers and tablets to game consoles and smart home appliances.”

EasyCep operates more than 300 physical locations across Turkey
The company operates more than 300 physical locations across Turkey and has established strategic partnerships with major retailers, e-commerce platforms, OEMs and telecom operators. EasyCep offers refurbished devices with a 12-month warranty and after-sales support, along with competitive prices and flexible payment options. The model aims to make technology more accessible while extending device lifecycles and reducing electronic waste. Between 2021 and 2024, the company increased its revenue 15 times.
EasyCep’s next-generation franchise network, EasyCep Express, integrates secondhand phone dealers into its ecosystem, enabling them to offer certified refurbished products with flexible payment plans. The company says the model provides consumers with affordable, trusted technology while supporting small businesses.
In mature markets, refurbished phones account for as much as 25% of the total smartphone market. In Turkey, the share has risen to around 10% amid rapid growth in recent years. Leveraging its experience in the domestic market, EasyCep has expanded internationally to Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. The company is now preparing for further growth through partnerships with Xiaomi in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Founded in 2018, EasyCep operates modern refurbishment facilities with a monthly processing capacity of up to 100,000 devices and runs 25 certified renewal centers nationwide.
